Why Love Island’s Tommy Fury is not set to appear on brother Tyson Fury’s new TV series

Tyson Fury has stated that his new show may not feature brother and Love Island star Tommy Fury .

The Gypsy King is set to be on our screens in new series ‘Meet the Fury’s’ which will be a fly-on-the-wall look at life with the heavyweight boxer.

But fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the two brothers together on the show were dashed following Tyson’s appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Speaking of the series, Tyson said: “‘They’ve been following me around for the last few months, for most of the comeback actually.

“It’s an insight on Tyson Fury as a husband, as a father, as a son, as a boxer, and as an every day person, a real behind-the-scenes show of my life.”

He added: “Tommy doesn’t make an appearance, he might, but Tommy’s got his own TV show going on I believe as well.”

Tommy came second on ITV’s reality show Love Island earlier this year with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.

Since shooting to stardom they have been enjoying the raptures of their new found fame, and have recently been in the US.

The pair attended Pretty Little Thing’s fashion week show in New York, before heading to Las Vegas for a few days after.

Tommy recently returned to the gym where he and Tyson both train following his Love Island success.

But promoter Frank Warren revealed that Tommy would be taking a year out of boxing before adding to his two professional bouts.

“He’s talking about taking a year out,” Tommy’s promoter Frank Warren told the Metro . “I’m fine with that. When he comes back, I’m really looking forward to that. He is going to be huge.

“The interest in him will be huge when he gets back in the ring, especially if he can keep up his profile.

“He’s only 20 years old. He’s been boxing his whole life, a year out won’t hurt him.”
